Never pay advance booking fees or security deposits sight-unseen to anyone over the internet. Schedule an in-person physical visit during daytime hours, check water supply, door locks, heating/ventilation, and mobile network reception.

Clarify notice periods, electricity sub-meter charges, food inclusion schedules, and visitor policies in writing or on standard rent agreement forms before making initial payments.

If a host asks for non-standard payment transfers, provides incorrect photos, or behaves inappropriately, report the listing immediately to contact@nearroom.in for prompt investigation.
